I became qualified in October 2013 where I gained an Itec Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology which included Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology for Complementary Therapies. I go to people's houses, care homes, a disabled centre and I also work from my home in Barby.
When an area in the body becomes weak, it affects the normal nerve and blood supply to the feet. As a result, it slows down circulation and forms crystal like deposits. By manipulation of the reflexes, it restores circulation of blood which allows nature to restore health. Improvement of blood circulation in the body increases vitality in a person. When there is no flow or poor flow, we become stagnant.
A trained Reflexologist works on certain areas of the feet which may then help with certain disorders in the body.
Having Reflexology done regularly may help to bring the whole person back into a natural balanced state.
